大榭开发区位于中国大陆海岸线中段，长江黄金水道和黄金海岸线的“T”型交汇点，中国经济最具活力和发展潜力的长江三角洲地区，浙江省宁波市东部沿海深水港区。

Daxie Development Zone is located in the middle of China’s coastline, and at the T-shaped intersection of the “golden waterway” of Yangtze River and the “golden coastline” of China. It is located in the coastal deepwater port area of the east of Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province, which is within the Yangtze River Delta Area possessing greatest economy development vigor and potentialities in China.

大榭开发区距宁波市中心40公里，毗邻杭州和上海，离上海海上距离不到100海里。连接宁波与上海的杭州湾跨海大桥已于2007年5月建成通车，大榭至上海的车程缩短为2小时。

Daxie Development Zone is about 40 km away to the downtown of Ningbo, facing Hangzhou Bay in the north across which lies Hangzhou and Shanghai from which is about 100 nautical miles away.  The Ningbo-Shanghai trans-sea bridge has been in operation in May, 2007, which shortens the driving time to 2 hours from Daxie to Shanghai.
